"Always reliable" 2010-03-15
By Handy Man (West Desmoines, IA)
This table saw is powerful and does everything I need it to do. It's very portable and is easy to adjust the blade. I can use at home for DIY project or take it to the jobsite for me. It never lets me down.

"Great table saw" 2010-03-15
By The book thief (Los Angeles, CA)
I'm a trim carpenter in California and purchased this table saw to work with. I shopped around for a good portable saw to replace my worn out saw and found that the Ridgid was the best buy. It's durable, light weight and the ease of operation were the greatest deciding factors. I use it almost daily and it performs great. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to haul around a big bulky shop saw. This one is very portable and easy to set up in minutes.

"wow, this saw blew me away" 2009-12-21
By Elaine M. Schultz-kehoe
let me start by saying I don't own the ridgid 2410, I have the 4520, an upgraded version of the 2410 but I don't think ridgid sells the older version shown in this add any more. Even on their web site they list this saw, but not the new 4520. Well any way, the new saw really blew me away. I have owned everything from a cheap skill bench top saw to a twelve thousand dollar panel saw (grizzly). This is the first table saw that was ready to cut, right out of the box. No tuning needed. Just replace the cheap rip blade they include any you are good to go. I bought mine at the home depot for $499 with zero interest on their card for 6 months. I thought I was getting the 2410 like the one on display, but this is the new model released just this summer. Didn'T know until I opened the box and boy what a surprise. The differences include better storage for the fence, it goes inside the body of the table saw. a much better safety guard. The exact same one that is on the bosch, which was the only plus for the bosch over the older model ridgid. (usually I throw away the guard as soon as I unpack the saw, but not this one, definitely worth using when I have a helper or homeowner on the site. Lots of power, great rip capacity, about 25 1/2 inches. also everything but blade change is tooless and stored onboard (it takes 2 wrenches to change the blade and they are both stored onboard along with space for saw blades). Oh, and the stand is an exact copy of the bosch, it opens and closes in one easy move. Nice heavy duty top and saw body. Also the saw castings look significant. The only thing that I think won't last is the tape measure for reading the rip fence setting, and maybe the sliding mechanism on the front fence rail. The first can be done away with, a regular tape measure is not as convenient, but works, and the latter could be repaired or even upgraded if damaged due to misuse. I'm a firm believer in keeping chop saws and table saws bolted to these types of stands. Seems they take less abuse in transit unlike loose tools that are easily thrown into the back of trucks. For someone who is use to festool and fein, I can't say enough about this table saw.

"Much Cheaper at HD; Get Updated R4510" 2009-12-18
By SCengr (Rock Hill, SC USA)
This is a good portable saw. But the newer R4510 is better. You can buy at some HD stores. Both are about $100 less at HD.

"waste of money" 2009-12-17
By C. Gaus
I bought this Item and thought it would be a good saw. Sawed very little popular and red oak.( All 1" stuff) motor burnt up after about a total of 15 hours of non continues use. To buy a motor is about the same as buying a new saw.
